Barossa Vintage Festival Success

The Vintage Festival in the Barossa was held this year in late April and a major success across our region. Barossa Function Hire and Barossa valley Hire have supported the Vintage Festival since our inception in 1994 and are proud to support local businesses and event managers.

This years highlights were the Strassenfest held at Coulthard House in Murray Street Nuriootpa.

Barossa Function Hire played a key role in many of the Vintage Festival events in the Barossa during April. One of our favourites was the Strassenfest, held at Coulthard House in Murray Street Nurioopta.

This Friday night festival of all good things German was organised by Jane Willson and her team and was a huge success with over 1600 people attending. The best of food, wine and music was on full display and already plans are afoot for the next show in 2 years time.

Barossa Function Hire supplied 3, 6 and 10 metre structures for the event stall holders and concert stage and a spring top structure as an entrance feature. We also made innovative use of a Scissor Lift to hold up a series of flags above the venue area. Our structures are perfectly suited to highlight products, food and services in any out door situation and were a big hit here. Bring on 2021!

Mark and the crew at Barossa Function Hire were exceptional and without their help for the Strassenfest event I would have been stressed to the max!! Mark guided me through the event process (I hadn’t organised an event for many years), assisting with the site layout, our requirements for marquees, lighting and so much more. Barossa Function Hire covered 80% of our event requirements. Their manner was professional but easy, nothing ever too hard or too much effort.

The result was a fantastic first Strassenfest event; presenting with quality marquees, ambient lighting and a wonder festival atmosphere – directly attributed to Barossa Function Hire and their great communication and cooperation. Barossa Function Hire also  provided structures and support for many of our winery friends at Gibson Wines, Yalumba and Bethany Wines.
